Your private information is important to Venator Media Pty Ltd (“Venator Media”). Our Privacy Policy is about your personal information and explains how we collect such information, what we do with it and how it is protected.

However, most of the Personal Information is or will be stored in client files which will be kept by us for a minimum of 7 years.

Third Parties

Where reasonable and practicable to do so, we will collect your Personal Information only from you. However, in some circumstances we may be provided with information by third parties. In such a case we will take reasonable steps to ensure that you are made aware of the information provided to us by the third party.

How an individual may access personal information

Your personal information may be shared internally or with third parties. Venator Media may disclose any or all of your personal information to:

  • Parties which Venator Media work with.
  • Third party transport companies, couriers, designers, glass manufacturers
  • Credit card merchants
  • Solicitors.

Any other third parties reasonably required for legal obligations and other privacy exceptions.

If Venator Media is required to provide your personal information to any other third parties not mentioned above, overseas parties or in a way that is unrelated to the scope of Venator Media conducting its business, Venator Media will obtain express consent from you before disclosing or using personal information in such a way.

Venator Media takes all reasonable steps to protect the security of your personal information.

Once your personal information is no longer required for our business operations or legal obligations, we ensure it is securely destroyed.

Overseas Data Transfer

By providing us with personal information, you consent to the potential disclosure of your information outside of Australia. Some overseas third parties may not be regulated by the Privacy Act and the Australian Privacy Principles, meaning they might not be held accountable under the Privacy Act for potential breaches. The likelihood of this occurring is low, however, this may include countries such as the United States of America or other nations where cloud storage may be physically stored.

Our Services may contain links to other websites. We do not have any control over those websites and we are not responsible for the protection and privacy of any personal information which you provide whilst visiting those websites. Those websites are not governed by this Privacy Policy.

Venator Media reserves the right to alter and update this Privacy Policy at its sole discretion without notice. It is recommended that you check this policy for updates on a regular basis. Use of the products and services provided by Venator Media constitutes acceptance of this Privacy Policy.

If you believe a breach of the Australian Privacy Principles has occurred, please alert Venator Media immediately so the matter may be resolved as soon as is practicable. Otherwise, a complaint may be lodged with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

Access to your Personal Information

You may access the Personal Information we hold about you and to update and/or correct it, subject to certain exceptions. If you wish to access your Personal Information, please contact us in writing.
Venator Media will not charge any fee for your access request, but may charge an administrative fee for providing a copy of your Personal Information.

In order to protect your Personal Information we may require identification from you before releasing the requested information.
